Steve Sidener Construction was started in July of 1985 by Steve Sidener.  Steve has been in the carpentry business since 1980. 

We provides such services as building of custom new homes, room additions, window replacements, bathroom/kitchen remodels.  The company can also install laminate flooring and construct metal pole barns.

Currently Steve serves the Lima/ Indian Lake area. 

He is on the board of directors for the West Central Builders Association which he has been a member for 24 years. He has also served as President.  On the national level is a National Director . He has attended the NAHB National Home Builders shows for many years, thus being able to keep up on the latest products to share with his customers.

As a member of the Waynesfield United Methodist Church he serves on their board. He is a member of the local Lions Club.   He has also volunteered his time on remodeling projects for the church.  He also helped spear head the building of the concession stand/bathrooms for Waynesfield Goshen Schools. Steve has been 4-H advisor for 29 years.  His club the Nailbenders, a woodworking club has had various  members over the years be honored at the Ohio State Fair for their outstanding projects. Steve recently helped Lead and construct a new walkway for Camp Palmer 4-H Camp.

Steve is very knowledgeable in all areas of the building process.  He comes up with many different options for the homeowners to choose from whether it is building a new home or installing a new door. Steve knows how to listen to the customer’s wants and needs, and can guide them thru every phase.

Steve's main concern is to build homes and additions more energy efficient to save homeowners money.

Recently Steve built  two new homes that were Energy Star Homes.  Having a home to be classified as Energy Star means hundreds of dollar of savings to the home owner. Steve is now classified as a Energy Star Home Builder.
